ByAnnie Drop Zone Zipper Pouch

In this class we will make a very versatile zippered pouch.
Whether it's your first ByAnnie pattern, or your tenth, you will learn EVERYTHING you need to know to create the large size of this cute pouch! I'll show you all the tips and tricks to successfully put it all together. We will have lots of fun as we explore the craft of bag making!
ByAnnie Drop Zone Pattern and all bag supplies listed on the back of the pattern. Pattern is available for purchase at the shop.
Required Materials-
Main fabric - 1 fat quarter
Lining fabric - 1 fat quarter
Coordinating fabric - 9" x 22"
ByAnnie's Soft and Stable (1 package 18" x 58" will make all 3 sizes!)
Fusible Interfacing - quarter yard
Handbag zippers - 24" or longer
Optional 1" hardware - D-ring, triangle ring, or swivel hook
Thread to complement fabrics
Class Requirements-
Sewing machine with walking foot, zipper foot, and open toe foot.
Scissors for fabric and for cutting the zipper.
General sewing supplies to include ripper, pins, and stiletto.
At least a dozen small wonder clips.
One small safety pin.
Removable marking pin (I used Frixion.)
Rotary cutter and basic ruler.
Skill Level: | Beginner |
Skill Details: | One should be able to use his/her sewing machine including changing the presser foot and sew a consistent quarter inch seam. No other bag making experience is necessary. |

Instructor Bio: | Elisabeth has been teaching classes at Block Therapy since 2019. She has been sewing since she was a child and fell in love with quilt making about 15 years ago. She combines her love of teaching (29 years as an English teacher) with her love of creating with fabric in her fun and informative classes. She is always available to get your questions answered well beyond the class. |
