Quiltmaking 101

In this eight week class, you will learn many essential skills to make a quilt, including: fabric selection, rotary cutting, piecing pressing, adding borders, making a "quilt sandwich", grid quilting, and binding! We will make half square triangle squares, employ the "stitch and flip" corner method, and learn to "spin seams" when we press. You will start with a handful of fabric you have chosen and end with a quilt! Class fees include fabric for the quilt top and binding, 8 classes with handouts, and plenty of "over the shoulder" help from the instructor. The registration fee covers the first class. You are agreeing to pay for all classes whether you attend or not.
