Pembina Backpack

Come learn how to make the Pembina Backpack by the Blanket Statement!
This backpack is perfect for carrying all your supplies for class, traveling, hiking, or back to school!
The roomy construction, large side pockets, and easy drawstring closures make this the perfect way to level up your bag making skills!
Students will come with their fabric pre-quilted and we will construct the bag together in class! We will cover using hardware, grommets, drawstrings, cutting our quilted pieces, binding, and leave out with completed bags!
Required Materials:
Pembina Quilted Backpack Pattern
1/2 yard of Outer Fabric
1/2 yard of Lining Fabric
18x34 Piece of Batting
2/3 yards of Accent and Binding
3 yards of Webbing
2 Slide Adjusters
2 D-Rings or Rectangle Rings
3/8 Grommets (8)
Hammer
Grommet Setting Tool
1 Heavy Duty Snap
Optional Materials: decorative webbing, quilting rulers, marking tools, clips and pins, quilt labels
