Faraway Kingdom by Natàlia Juan Abelló for Riley Blake Designs

Where I'm from, Catalonia, St. George's day is widely celebrated. On that one day, everything revolves around the legend of St. George and the Dragon. Streets are full of stall selling books and roses, and literature is celebrated. Since I was little, it's been my favorite day of the year, and probably the reason I became captivated by dragons.

Faraway Kingdom comes from this fascination, and it's hugely inspired by the charm of fantastic tales. The child in me conjured dragons flying high above medieval castles, knights riding through deep forests and brave princesses saving the day.

Throughout the collection we see modern hints of medieval motifs, alongside a warm and soft palette of calming greens, golden hues and earthy highlights.
